Find God at Camp

Matt 18:14 (NIrV) “It is the same with your Father in heaven. He does not want any of these little ones to be lost.”

Jesus has such a tender heart for children. Every year thousands of kids go through the weekly revolving doors of Bible Camps and hear about how precious they are to Jesus.

Some kids can afford to go to camp, but so many of them can’t. Businesses and organizations across our country feel that it is important for kids to be able to go to camp, so they generously raise funds to support kids in having that experience.

But what about Bibles? By the time a camp has gotten up and running for the summer, there is very little money left over for Bibles. Couple that with the fact that so many of our youth today are growing up in a home without a Bible, this becomes a huge dilemma!

CLLM wants to fill that need. Kids don’t want to have to leave the written truth of Christ behind at camp when they leave. We want to make sure that The Word gets to go home with them! For so many, it will be the only Bible that their home will see. This is why an easy-to-read New International reader’s Version (NIrV) format of scripture is so important. This grade 3 reading level ensures that both kids and the adults in their home are able to easily read and understand God’s Word. Greater understanding brings a greater chance for change!

If you would like to help kids find God at camp, please pray that God’s Word would be made available to every camper! If you would like to make a donation so that kids can bring a Bible home from camp, please contact us, and we would be happy to answer questions and assist you!
